I often use a number of reference tracks so my work is at a level that is consistent with commercial tracks without clipping. There is software out there I’m sure that can level up playlists. You make a good point though, maybe aswell as file size and formats stipulations mastering levels should be a concern. I myself have had some issues with downloads signal to noise ratio not good and even clipping. Kind regards. Rewob.
