That’s a really cool idea, and well executed. I especially like figuring Pitx’s pretty and delicate acoustic worked in, and the enormous opening swell.

The melodic leads sound really good, and I like you’ve created a virtual dual between soloists.

Even though I’m one of the source contributors, I may remix this myself. :)

Hey admiralbob, let me know if you need any specific stems on my part. I’ll upload it up here. The reverb and effects were all recorded in, unfortunately (I’ve not figured out a way to record both the clean and effects version).

BTW I’ve to say this again — gotta love your original rhythm power chords. Thanks for uploading the Left and Right channels separately. Without them, this track simply hasn’t got the bite.

with three of the best guitaristas on the site this one got me from the first measure. bangin’ rock from the pacific rim, for sure.

This song reminds me of “Up where we belong” sung by joe cocker used in the film “Officer and a gentleman” and a rather Zen line from American Poet John Greenleaf Whittier whcih evolved into these germinal lyrics. A stronger melody line will make it easier.

The day has dawned
our story formed
we soar on our way
up with birds of prey, hey hey

We are trailing coulds of
glory, we will live forever.
If you lift me and I lift you
then we’ll ascend together

the time has come
the race overruns
our path is clear
this much we share

We are trailing coulds of
glory, we will live forever.
If you lift me and I lift you
then we’ll ascend together
