That is one fine version of this Phase! Brings new life to it. I knew it was an old song and just did some interesting reading on the origins of it :)

Thank you. While working on the song I did some reading, too - in deed very illuminating. And I had to notice once again, that knowing the lyrics of a song and understanding its story are two completely different things. :)

Very many thanks indeed for a wonderful mix! Very sensitively and expertly arranged and produced. You managed to breathe new life into this well-known and ancient song, while remaining true to the sentiment and story. Impressive and moving—really excellent! Cutting my extended version made sense and works well here. I wanted to get a more “authentic” version of this song out (in comparison to the famous S&G version), in the hope someone might take it further—very glad you took on the challenge! Again, many thanks indeed.

Thanks, I’m glad you like it.
I wonder how many times the song has been remixed, altered and improved over the years until that ancient version from 1880 ;-) |

Still with the original feel but taken up a notch or two.
Great version and I’m sure Paul and Art would be proud of you!! |
