very nice arrangement! it really fits the vocal so well. the strings really bring a richness to this, and i’m really digging that arpeggiated electric guitar sitting way back in the mix. sweet.

As usual, there’s a lot of subtle stuff going on here. Some remixes, you can easily grasp everything that’s going on within 1 or 2 listens, but this ain’t one of those! This is the kind of track I like to listen to repeatedly, but with some time in between; I know I’ll find something new each time.

I like this a lot. The bridge chords could have maybe changed to lift her up a bit but i was reminded of David Gates or Bread as listened.

Thanks.

I had to replace the file with Shannon’s fix of a vocal glitch, so I took your suggestion and played around with the bridge section. Still not sure about it, but you have to stop somewhere!

very nice arrangement indeed, there are a few people here that you can tell from their work (even if you did ignore bios, blogs etc)that they just know how to play, compose and arrange. very well done on all three.

Sounds like an post hipster beat ballad from early 70-ies. Clear, simple, but very good…
