this should be a big one for you! lyrics & melody could easily have come from the tin pan alley era. classic stuff indeed.

Now narva, you’ve got inside my head before and it’s rather unnerving. I do indeed love to have a crush on the go!

Hi CB,
The song stems from a conversation with a friend about another friend. After eye-flirting with a fellow patron at her morning coffee spot for a few months, she decided to make her move and leaves her business card on the windshield of his car. The next time they meet, he doesn’t acknowledge her or make eye contact. Crushing the crush. I love the idea of loving the “idea of falling in love” - divorcing the whole concept of love from reality. I think that like parachuting - the falling part is fun…it’s the landing that usually kills you :-) n9 PS - would you at any time be interested in singing a song for me? |

Ohhh - how disappointing for your friend. She has my sympathy. I hope she found someone else more charming (and discerning) to bring a sparkle to her eye.
And I would love to sing one of your songs and feel very flattered that you’ve asked me. Cigs xx |

I’m am tickled pink and honored :-). Let me put some thought into what might suit your voice. Do you have any preference in type of song? I have a few already in the bag that need recording. Or maybe an opportunity like this needs a new song :-) Hmmmm???
I’m off (in a few hours) to Vegas for a few days…and out of touch for a few days. Will nudge you when I’m back. Thanks again. I look forward to working with you! n9 |

I’d be genuinely delighted to sing anything you put my way. As to looking forward to working together, the feeling’s entirely mutual. Hope you have a lovely time in Vegas and perhaps find the opportunity to enjoy a little crushette on someone! Cigs
