Nicely done…I’m always down for a nightmare mix of any of my tracks! I’m honored.

Glad you like it. Could of gone so many different directions with it. I would like to create another dark version using the entire original melody and vocals, instead of just bits and pieces. I choose not to do that this time because I wanted it to be different and relatively original. But I can clearly imagine a dark version using the entire melody. It would use a similar effect that the very beginning of this track starts off like, but would follow through instead of change up.

Oh man - this is very nice. You’ve done an amazing job fitting the original 3/4 into 4/4. Great reinterpretation where you can trace the original while making it uniquely your own.

Thank you. Originally, I was just using the vocals, but the original melody sounded so nice with the vocals that I wanted to find a way to incorporate them. At first, it seemed like they would conflict with the beat I had already decided on, but I was able to make it work by keeping it very subtle. Also, I like that it allows the track to be identified with the original a bit more as well.
