Santa Cruz, England?
They make cool music like this in Britain, you know. Great b/t |
.
Santa Cruz, England? That would be odd. Isn’t “santa cruz” Spanish for “holy cross”?
also, thanks! |

Not hard to take at all! Has that commercial rock sound going’ on.
Interesting contrast with db dryer than the other vocals, and the stringy section down low. |
.
yeah, i was going for the good old “phone line” effect on some of the vocals. as for the strings, gratuitous and subtle baby!

monfusciously perfecto. let’s make sure the bass player gets some, brad & Lisa, too. this is what 4-on-the-floor used to sound like before… well, you know.

Oh man! This is really cool! Another super use of source material. I totally dig the hypnotic groove that has a decidedly California vibe.

Nice backing. Not convinced the female pella sits well (melody wise), but maybe it needs a few listens. The mix of the two pellas sounds natural. I’m further in at this point and backing sounds even better. Nice.

lisa’s track didn’t match up key-wise real well to the main riff of brad’s track (the bassline) but i thought it fit ok with that one 2-chord section of brad’s. i know lisa’s singing more than 2 chords but i still thought the key fit better. i guess i could have pulled her out altogether but i was really going more for a combination of vocals over a straight remix of brad’s track.
so yeah, i can see how it might not seem natural, but it works for me. thanks for listening! |
