The backing track works so well with the spoken-word; at first I was thinking “maybe he’s got her too up front in the mix?”, but soon I realized “Nope, it supports and enhances without being obtrusive.”

i especially love the opening section of this track. it sets a perfect tone for the rest of the layers and vocal.
