Comparing with your previous experiment this one is better I think. Using that short vocal to create all (all?) the “instruments” is a great work
And I also like dark techno! :)

Yes, apart for the kick drum, everything comes from the 4 words “set my soul aflame”, but there’s quite a lot of effects.

In fact each letter of those words brings very different sounds, so I could have done something more varied. Maybe next time.

I’m stunned. That’s quite a groovy variety of sound coming from such a short sample.

this is strangely captivating - a very successful experiment! I’m sure this will find takers for further remixing.

A remix would be a most unexpected but very pleasant surprise!

I wonder where other ccmixters would take this…

Inspiring! I think I might play around with a similar idea, and see what happens :-)

Interesting and inventive. I particularly like the low sounds, amazing overtones.

Like a lot of good ideas simple but very effective.

I think the tonality of the piece is what drives it. Anything different may not have worked but you have pitched it where it forces the listener to listen!!

what got me was that I still knew this was you, theres something about your tracks like I like alot, there like slamming yourself over and over again against the padded walls of your cell—to me anyway!!!!

After a listen through a lot of po/hiphop/funk/ethno tracks this is amazing towards idea and sound. Always good to see that tracks like this get a lot of attention.
