The bluesy backing you create here works very well with the vocals.
The “live” feel with which you infuse the mix is very effective. The backing music and the vocal track sound like they “belong” together. The virtual violins in the mix are interesting—on the one hand, they keep the mix varied, and yet on the other hand I could imagine this one a bit more stripped down. It’s a “mixer’s choice” thing, I think. A solid listen which really fits the vocal. |

Yeah I also think the synth was either too loud in the mix or maybe should have been done with a more vintage sounding instrument. Thanks for the constructive comment.

There is this, ummm, Irish Pub? called O’ Haras on Las Olas-Fort Lauderdale; where I lived for about 14 years until recently… Use to go there at least once a month with my buddies to listen to live jazz. It always put me in a good mood. That is where the song takes inspiration. Your mix truly puts me right back in that pub—literally ‘ey? lol. As they would say—CHEERS MATE! That was bloody brilliant!
