Oh yes. That was definitely time well spent. This is is a terrific take. I very much like the soundscape you’ve built.

Nice, nice job.

Thanks, I love your Midtown mix too. When I heard Romancito’s take on your original, I knew I had to use it.

While I’d hate to see you suffer from sleep deprivation on a regular basis, I’m not sorry you stayed awake to get this out of your system ;-)
Well done!

I’m a huge procrastinator when it comes to music and most things in general, but I’m glad I got to finish this on time!

Well worth the awake time. This is one of your best. The initial drum sequence is really great. This goes in my itunes ccMixter playlist. Well done

This is that old overcoat that you love so much that not only keeps out the cold but feeds the soul with memories.

Enchanting work!

While I don’t think of music in terms of clothing, I do quite appreciate your warm and sensual analogy to my music!

Oh man this is bloody lovely. Wonderful. Download for me as well. You never go to sleep you hear me—stay up till you fall down if it means making more like this.

I was moved enough by your vocal performance to remix it, but now I’m deeply stoked that I had you moved too. Cheers!

Ok this is simply brilliant. Evokes Mr Cave, Mr Ferry, what was great about when musicians in the 80s got fed up with fluff and made great records.

Hey KT, I didn’t live much through the 80s, but I trust that you have fully lived and experienced it, and so I’m glad and much honored that you liked it!

Night time is precious my friend, it’s usually the only time I can get to be creatively inspired, and I’m glad it’s the same for you too!

Very chill, very nice Almost a little romantic :) A great mix!

If my ears are not wrong, I think something does not match at 2:00 — it may be the vocals.

your ears are indeed right, the intonation doesn’t really match with my chords at that point, but I had decided to leave it in. Thanks for the kind words!

Solid! I like this. Your drum beat and arrangement set this off in a totally different (and nice) direction from romancito’s mix. Were the guitars your originals? Or were they samples? (I didn’t download the Jonathan Bailey loops). Even if it’s not, it doesn’t mean this mix means any less. Your loss of sleep has not been wasted, Khidir.
