Did you ever hear a giraffe sing? Neither have I. But I imagine that if a giraffe could sing, she would sing a down-tempo melody like this, well-suited to keeping one’s feet well-rooted while one reaches for the leaves on the heights.

I like the melody and the way it builds to a swell of sound. A few of the mix sound levels seem a bit uneven to me, but that is probably a matter of one’s own taste in seasonings. The spoken word pieces and vocals are given a rich environment, like reaching the sweet leaves on the top of the thin but ominous tree.

This is so very, very nice — dreamy, soothing — the beginning with the perfect sounds as I end my day with some pre-dream listening, while the end reminds us that dreams sometimes take unexpected turns. I really like how you worked with our voices. Thank you so much for including me. A very lovely mix indeed!
