Welcome to ccm!

I really like what you’ve come up with for snowflake’s vocals. Very appropriate backing. Great variation throughout, and nicely produced.

My only issue is that the vocals could be just a pinch louder in the mix. There are times that the instrumentals overtake the vocals.

That said - excellent track. Hope you stick around to share a few more.

Thank you for your kind words! :)

You were really spot on about the vocals - I was actually thinking someone would mention that when I published the song ;) I think I’ll need to completely redo the synthesizers to make room for both the vocals and synths. As they are now, I’ve tried EQing and adjusting the volume either ways, but it always ends up being way too dominating or left behind. The vocals and synths are simply struggling for the same space…

Anyways, thank you for the nice comment. I sure will upload some more songs here :)

Wow, what a quick reply from the artist itself! Thank you for the comment, and of course for making these great accapellas. Thanks for letting me remix you ;)

Not bad, definitely in the right direction. At least you have explored the backing potential of the melody.

I finished a mix of this a week or so ago and i am waiting for the paint to dry, its not as easy as it sounds, so well done

Yup, I have definitely not done the last touch to this remix. At least it wasn’t a good idea to post the song the same second I “finished” it, but I was too eager to post it here, so I rushed the most important part of it all… Maybe I’ll take the time to fix the blemishes some day, but if I know myself right I’ve already started on a new song before that happens ;)

yes sounds tidier cant know exactly what you have changed.

Its like an engineer i know who produced Steel Pulse. They were always saying they wanted more bass. So he would hover over the control on the desk and ghost turn it without changing a thing, then ask if that was better .

They would always say yes. When they didn’t , he would just do the same thing till they said it was good. I have used that trick so many times when producing a band since.

this is very awesome. The perfect soundtrack for just waking up in a big house all by yourself.

Really nice. I found myself singing along right away — a sign that this song may it’s way in!

That’s nice, thanks! ;)

And to everyone: I just replaced the track with a remastered version; hopefully with a little louder and more crispy vocals (the rest of the song hopefully sounds a bit more balanced as well).
