sounds good, i think the fade in & out on the rap makes it hard to understand and/or feel the flow. but the overall BT & mix are right there.

well heres the story, i dont listen to any hiphop/rap except when this big ass ghetto car drives by… everyday… this is what it sounds like to me… i guess maybe one of his speakers is broken and the rap is paning. or he did a homemade tape … and everytime the bass drum kicks the rap fades out (needs to compress the bass some)… then a super sub bass kicks in boooooooooooom. well thats where i got the ideal from. :P

gotcha. for me it holds up as a street performance piece or a real good creative element. but i’m ‘ear challenged’ from too many years in front of loud amps, so when the fade out starts i’m goin’ “WHAT THE?”, is it me or memorex. kind of relieved to get the back story.

I actually like this a hell of a lot. It works really well if you think of the rap as rhythmic elements only and don’t worry too much about meaning. :)

I wish there had been some development throughout the track - a bass or another drum to mix it up - but the core idea is stellar.

Welcome to ccmixter - hope you stick around to share a few more.
