I love the feel & sound of this. I’d call it Latvian Jug Band music with horn section. But labels schmabels, it sounds great & I digs it.

Thanks unreal. There was a club called Russendisko in Berlin. It got quite famous, because some guy wrote a book about it. The book was a success, so they made a film. And the soundtrack - a nice one actually - was a bit like this. But you can lead a happy life without reading the book or watching the film I guess.

So cool. I love the punk feel to this… great with the lyrics. Sounds like ska to me, but I’m with panu- “labels schmabels.” :) This is excellent, Hans. Thank you for using my vocals!
p.s. If the vocals that start at 2:59 are pushed back (with the rest of the following vox) to about 3:01, I think they’ll line-up better (and match the way the vox and music line-up in the rest of the track). |
