+ + This is the kind of track that makes you want to join a band. A resounding success on every level. Great lyrics, great band sound.

Thanks for listening and for the double ++, mando! Lyrics are of course by Robert Warrington…he has many very beautiful and intelligent pieces in the download section.

Very cool and pretty well done. Robert Warrington’s voice gives character to the track and is well exploited in this bluesy pop-rock tune.
I don’t know why but some parts of the mix vaguely reminds me the beginnings of dire straits…

Thanks for liking that old fashioned sound. I had to think about Dire Straits too, maybe because of the organ…I don´t know. I tried to de-direstratisize it a bit by not playing a little solo, everytime Robert takes breath.

The idea’s a clever one and I like your impression of unreal_dm. I also appreciate the skill of the fusion and the sensitivity you’ve shown towards the vocal. Although it’s been altered to suit a different style of backing track, it seems to have retained its character and the meaning of the song has been preserved.

Thanks a lot for dropping in, listening and commenting, Robert. I have a lot of pellas of you on my harddrive. I like your voice and your lyrics a lot but the pellas are all hard to handle for me. Because I am too much in melodic pop and that means I have to force and cut and bend your voice a lot. Something I don´t really want to. So I am very glad you say the meaning is preserved. Thats the most important thing.

YEAH! This rocks! Well, I’m a huge fan of Robert’s voice/lyrics, Unreal_DM’s mad skillz, AND Mr. Hans Atom’s creative, melodic compositions… so it’s really no surprise that this is so darn good. The perfect recipe! It’s so cool how you used Unreal as inspiration and crafted this piece… Very flippin’ cool. Props!
