Thanks for giving the kids a little play, They will love it.
I’m trying to understand something. I hear several loops here. Each on it’s own is very cool. Sometimes when they clash they go off beat. I have a freind that does the same thing and he loves it. Was that your intent? Being and old school dog here at the mixter i’m trying to keep an open mind to different styles. Much respect…keep doing your thing.

I like to mash beats even when they “don’t fit”, assuming they time roughly the same, because I like the juxtaposition of things slightly “off kilter”. But it might have been more fun here to alternate the differing beats to reach a more clean, old-school sound. I prefer things beatless, myself, but I didn’t think that my usual ambient track would merit “it’s a hot one, baby!”.
Thanks for reviewing it.

Rather than just talk about it, I went ahead and created a “smooth mix” in which the beats are placed in different portions of the track and thus don’t clash. I had originally thought this too tame, but now I think it may indeed work better this way, though it’s a bit less raucous. Thanks.
