Very disturbing, like watching a documentary. Only this is so more emotional than the professional dramaturgy of the tv-docus. I have a deep respect for your work.

Thanks very much for the kind works. I got most of the loops off of video filmed by the protesters, much of which is still available online in myriad locations. The protesters did a tremendous job documenting the events, destruction and some amazing achaeological finds that were initially swept under the rug. But sadly, in the end, most people didn’t really care.
You’re right. It’s not the BMW’s or the people driving them per se. It’s the apathy and lack of will to combine progress with sensible preservation of extremely relevant and archetypically charged landscapes that disturbs me. |
