You’ll find that my personal mixes tends to bridge a lot of genres. When possible, I try to work down to pop. But, that depends on the material. Like clay, I tend to sculpt the song into what I hear in my head.

In my creative process, I wander through a lot of variations. This is one of the variations I’ve worked up. This one is very dense and continuous, but I liked that about it. I’ll probably work through a few more variations from here. When I come up with something I like, I’ll post it.

Note, however, when I start with this one as the starting point, a new variation may sound completely different when finished. So don’t be surprised. :)
