um… yup. I like the other one better. This one is too avant garde for me. On the other hand, it certainly gives me the creeps, and stuff, but that’s not enjoyment of music. sorry.

Never got a chance to review this remix when it came out so I figured I would take the time to do it now.

First of all, thank you for taking the time/interest to remix one of my vocals. I have to say that I prefer the other version. My problem with this track is purely that it delves to far from the hip-hop element I had intended the vocal to be mixed for.

The beat is certainly eerie, with the percussion arrangment and the matching bassline. I’m not saying that I didn’t enjoy the mix, the problem is that this track drifts too far from what I intended it to intially sound like. I mean, I think that the saxophone is a nice touch and that it’s a fine instrumental but it’s out of place over the vocal.

Sorry about the vocal sound being so muffled and not really having a clear BPM, I actually recorded this directly on my iPod while I was searching for a new computer. If I do post new vocals they’ll be much clearer with a definite tempo.
