Thanks. I felt the overall a capella, but the hook really jumped out and hit me over the head. So damn catchy. Digging your website, too.

Whoah.
This kicks twelve and a half individual kinds of butt. The beat is just perfect match for the light guitar and the slow sort of lazy rap. Yeah. I love this so much it’s probably illegal. |
.
lol, thanks. Yeah, the guitar sample couldn’t have fit the vibe any better.

Great Rythm. Everything goes perfect. I feel the sounds is a little dry, kinda empty. Maybe a little bass would help.
The spoken part Its perfect so dry, and so close, hehe |
.
Thanks. I think you’re right about the bass part. Probably would of served it well, particularly during the hook parts where the kick changes to a less boomier sound.

I see the title.. so I’m like ok it’s Chilla let me check this one out. I’m so glad I did!
This is really cool and very reminiscent of the early De La Soul and Digable Planets stuff! I love these types of joints man! (AM kudos on the vocals 2.) Peace, -k |

Now that you say it, I guess I can feel that vibe quite a bit, too. It makes you wonder. I immediately knew the direction I was going in when I heard the pell, but didn’t think De La or any specific flavor of hip hop. So I guess it’s all subconcious and sometimes we don’t immediately see the influences on us from music’s past. |
