Huge! Cinematique!

Fun to hear Ciggi’s voice swimming in this huge soundscape.

For me this is a very dark treatment which works really well with Ciggi’s vocal - top track

a very different kind of 22nd century jazz backdrop for Ciggi’s voice that works hugely. nice, nice.

Oh this definitely works, AT. It’s a very different, highly original setting - I love the dark, relentless, gritty b/t with my bitter vocal. A really terrific and unique mix. Thanks so much for picking up my pella. xxxx

Ooohhh - you clever monkey, you. Very tricky harmonies. They almost (but not quite) break all the rules.

I’d be very interested in playing around with the sources. Would you be OK to share the instrumentals?

sure let me work on them tonight—and they’ll need lots of work, im not just being modest when I say there pretty crappy separated out.

Re the harmonies—Id like to say that yes I was clever and that I love getting tricky with harmonies but the reality is I just wasn’t thinking about or sometimes even listening to them ;)

OK uploaded some separate tracks—there’s a couple missing that I either need to redo because its so bad—-one bass track, or aren’t mine to share—-one drum loop. There’s also a ton of mistakes in what is here, but yell if you need anything tidied up.

A different approach. One that seems to support the line about stepping into the light but being apprehensive about it. I like it very much. Oh and thanks for the stems. I’m sure they’re not as sub-par as you make them sound in your response to colab. I’m thinking a mix with these and colab’s My Favorite Photograph stems.
