Wonderful music! You did a great job, everything fits perfectly in the wave. Also I like a lot that high-pitch “whistle” in the middle.
Apart from the technical stuff, the music is just beautiful. |

This is superb, Wired_Ant. I was thinking “if I composed music for this poem it would’ve been nothing like this!” That’s the beauty of ccMixter - it takes it from a different angle & the end result is value-added. Thanks - nice Christmas/ New Year’s present for me!

Rob I am really glad you like this remix and the mood that I framed around your great poem! I just walked on hot coals until I read your review!
I was already fascinated the day you uploaded “Clearing the caravan park”! It is on me thank you for this X-mas present! PS: I replaced the mp3 and cleared that organ beep at the beginning. |

I’ve been busy with other stuff & haven’t uploaded much in the later part of 2011. In a week I move to Japan for a year - I’m hoping to put more up on ccmixter in the new year. I’ve also put your version up on my poetry website:

This is really excellent, WA. The backing track is gorgeous and absolutely works with robwalkerpoet’s moving words and straight delivery (which I love). Thought-provoking and compelling listening. xxxx

A great musical moment, with a theme very melodious. Thank you for sharing it here.

Nicely done
Could have been a theme song for New York’s Jimmy McMillan of the Rent Is Too Damn High Party |

Wow! (Though it wasn’t so,) words and music fit so perfectly as if they were made for each other. And I’ll take it down as a reference on how to handle spoken word.
