A fine song! Love the background story. I often stare out the window as well. For me it’s inspiration. I closed my eyes while listening to this and could see my own version of the girl and the swingin’ trees.

A very mellow swing and sway. I’d like to keep this mood all day.

Tranquil! It’s wonderful to hear your voice again… This is just so lovely… The story, lyrics, feel… You embodied the story with sound so very well. I’m honored to have my lil’ flute part of the mix… Thank you.

I’m glad you like it and I’m glad you uploaded that lil’ flute too. I was struggling trying to find the right thing and that was it. I like the idea that a flute is just a piece of wood that has to be carved out to make music. I also like that it sort of captures the essence of this song..that people persist because of balance with nature…although it seems like unbalance at the moment. But some cultures still know what that means.
“When you work you are a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music. Which of you would be a reed, dumb and silent, when all else sings together in unison?”-Kahlil Gibran |
|
.
Another fun coincidence regarding your song and the lil’ flute finding each other is how we both wrote them years ago… I bought the flute about 9 years ago at a community music festival from the man who carved it… I immediately played this melody… but never recorded it until now…
There must be balance somewhere… perhaps it is only temporarily lost… waiting to reunite… |

Another one of these your extraterrestrial compositions - keep on singing, it’s great!
Would be great to have the acapella parts. Don’t know if I can build something useful, but I would like to try it! |

What an incredible treat. The music is so right up my alley I can’t properly describe it.
Fantastically inspiring - just when I needed it. Thanks for this upload, and for sharing the stems. |

Well, I don’t know what this site is or who you are, but I just created an account, only so that I can tell you that this song is pure awesome. I heard a bit of it on a track for a video on gestalten website (about graphic design), and I was searching for it until It got me here. It is beautiful.
