This is so exquisitely recorded. That sounds exactly like a real miked up piano - not making any predictions as to whether it is or not. :)

You always surprise me with you attention to detail! Thats the “Mellow Bosendorfer 290” on Ivory. They really paid attention to detail as well getting the mic placement just right. I WISH I had a real one, that would cost a fortune though. They really got the software right on that though and it helps to have a good weighted controller. I actually really like the Quantum Leap pianos, they’re even darker and more mellow, which I prefer. I’ll get that eventually, but too many other things I need.

You’re a very talented man, Jeris. This sample stands on its own as a composition.

Thank you. I only wish I could have thought of a cool name like “fireproof babies”…lol
I really just wanted to enter the secret mixter thing, and I couldn’t think of any samples to upload, so I just gabbed the latest easiest thing to bounce. But, I’m glad you like it. |

Wow……… The name is original, but Eno’s 1st album is in my top 10. He’s a bloody genius. If there’s any connection, it must be subconscious, ‘cause I thought I pulled that out of my brain untainted by another artist. Having said that…… “Baby’s on Fire” is so bad ass… it should be our National Anthem. Early Fripp….. early Eno……. Groundbreaking stuff.

I had downloaded the extra files on your Lick My Wounds upload hoping one of them was the piano, so I’m happy to find this. Thanks for sharing your considerable talent.
