This is wonderfully Ralph Records-wish. I think it’s good to do the vocal morphs, and to fit it in with the curious percussion and mechanical sounds. I like that you define this mix by your own terms, and find an unexpected way to make this lyric work. It’s all well and good to show reverence to a vocalist (and I am very fond of CG’s vocals), but it’s also possible to show reverence for a sample by showing what curious and memorable places it can go—as you do here.

I think you could have even a few more atmospheric things here and there, such as little electronica twinges and perhaps unexpected spoken word sections by a different speaker, but those are just ideas and not critiques.

A very interesting and solid mix.
