Really excellent.
I have to tell you that I nearly leapt out of my seat the first time I heard this. I was wearing my headphones and fully immersed in the song when the thunder crack interrupted my lull and truly startled me.  |

An excellent and very appropriate re-interpretation. You can tell a piece is wholly engrossing when seven minutes doesn’t seem long. Well done. And thanks for using that trumpet sample, sounds great in there.
