Nice bass addon. How many semitones did you change at the mod? I will try reworking it anytime soon I get a free moment.

Thanks. I tried a complex bass, but it spoiled the mood. Nice and simple now, I hope.

The modulation is from A minor to Bb minor. I didn’t play D minor 7, but A minor instead.

Would be cool if you could also upload bass in flac version without fx just as you recorded it.

I didn’t add any fx. Recorded it straight into Audacity, exported it in MP3. I’m afraid I don’t have any other file format available. Do you think I should save it in FLAC too, in the future?

Ah ok. Generally you should save everything to WAV format and convert after all. The same about taking pictures with professional cameras. Better save in RAW than jpeg which makes things much easier when you want to apply effects especially for things like Adobe Lightroom or other stuff. Sometimes you can make out even a picture out of complete darkness. Not possible when saved into jpg.

Agreed. Wav files uploaded in .zips are the best for remixing.

Understood. However, if I save to WAV, the file often exceeds the upload limit, even when zipped. I will upload WAV whenever possible though, thank you both for the advice

This track is getting really huge. Your tasty bass and the extra space you seem to have added has turned Doxent’s song into something Porcupine Tree would be proud of. Love it & proud to be part of it.

I’m going to push for this one on Twitter (although no one read my tweets)
