Ringing bells, the call to prayer, the nylon guitar and softly singing keys. Eve herself sings from the garden she is to be cast out of, as the nylon guitar of the serpent seduces her with death. Paradise stands ready to face its ruin.

Very close to desolate perfection, as the wind blows and the distant muezzin calls to prayer.

Snowflakes got that Kate Bush thing going on again. At first I thought you’d overdone it one the fx but after a while I changed my mind—they all fit quite nicely. Very nice mood created and of course excellent production.
Congrats on another pick

Yeah, the eastern seasoning is really nice. From good to great is often about doing the unconventional, isn’t it? A natural, warm and earthy sound here and those eastern elements seems like made for the mix.

I couldn’t have said it better myself! I am in total agreement.
Very fine work Sir Loveshadow.

Great atmosphere! When you took the reverb off the vocals near the end for a moment it gave me chills.

The nylon guitar was also a very nice touch that pushed this from good to great in my book.

Lovely track. Both the production and the mixing is beautifully paced and balanced and I love the “nylon” melody.

What is the sound you used for that? It reminds me of the one you used in your EVP remix in another place and another life.

Yea you know i like that type of sound. The EVP one is off the Korg series this is from Rob Papen’s Predator a monster of a VST. Its designed for Dance but there are some great Ambient presets lurking under the hood.

What an incredibly beautiful track! You outdid yourself creating a lush, sexy, warm, seductive production that suits Snowflake’s song/voice perfectly. Mmmm. This is truly delicious!

You know what happens if you spend too much time waiting in a garden? You get compost, when you could have dinner, that’s what.

Anyway…I’ll take those stems and maybe stop sitting on my metaphorical butt and make some music with them, because those sounds are right in my sweet spot (of course I’ll stay on my real butt because remixing requires it of me :-).)

I wanted to try to do a remix of a Waiting in the Garden, but after listening to your remix, I understand that it is better to do, is simply impossible! Amazing great job!

It’s taken me nearly 11 years to find this gem but it goes to prove time will never diminish great music
