Hey, I like your spoken-word piece in this — your voice sounds great. Also, Kudos for using Freesound.org — it’s a real treasure house of good stuff. Nice to hear the robwalkerpoet piece — his stuff is always strong.

Thank Javolenus. Thanks for your never-ending bounty of pieces to play with. I think I may take a crack at that song and write some lyrics for it. Time will tell :)
Cheers!

Thanks Kung Fu - love it! The low-key guitarwork & “non-verbal vocals” by Javolenus are a great blend. I like your poetic response too; a value-added crossbreeding of ideas…
There’s a clicking in both spokenword parts which is a distraction. Maybe my computer isn’t connecting properly - I’ll download the files again later.
Thanks for mixing!

I noticed the click too. I have to figure out why and remove them. It is pleasure to work with your work and look forward to doing it again soon. I will keep you posted on the non-clicking version :-)
Cheers!

Sorry to be picky… Just that it’s one little annoying thing in an otherwise-perfect mix!

Not picky at all. After uploading I preview the file and I heard it right away. I can’t hear it in the native program so it must be somewhere in the rendering process. Just bizarre but I’ll find it :-)
Cheers!

my system does it when the cpu is managing too much info (multiple duplicated tracks, vst’s, eq’s, reverbs, pans). i often mix multiple tracks to a single stereo track which saves all the settings, save & delete the originals from the recording program & carry on.

Great idea. I think I remember that from an older system I used to use. I guess I have found my crackling point as it were :-) the strange thing is that it sounds fine in playback just not when I make an mp3 or flac. I guess it is trying to work too fast :-)
Thanks panu!
Cheers!

I finally found the problem… It was a problem with either one plugin or one plugin interacting with something else… A noise gate plugin of all things… Anyway the computer got a thorough cleaning and sorting and the mix got a little better too :) Thanks for all your help.
Cheers!

I found the click! It took some of my best detective work and some help from panu but we hunted it down. I have uploaded a new version to replace the clicky version :)
Thanks again for sharing your work it really is top notch and I love playing with it.
Cheers!
