I love this kind of singing speaking a lot too. Sounds like a rainy late afternoon with some stirred Martinis in an Italian seaside club. The band hooks up with the sad confessions (I just fancy) of the unknown lady singer and the guitar plays for the healing of us all! Chapeau!

I’m a fan also. Not only of the style of vocals, but of the excellent backing to this. You’ve made some very smart choices with the right-panned drum sounds and the humanity that the guitar adds.
Lovely, lovely track. |

Hi colab and thanks for this. Hope all’s well with you! Very glad you like the track, which I rushed to complete, so wasn’t sure if it was OK. The main problem for me was cleaning up and EQ-ing the vocal track. There’s lots of character in her voice but the original track was extremely faint and recorded only on one channel. I used iZotope ‘Ozone’ to get an overall widening effect on the track. Anyways, I appreciate the comments—thanks again.

Really nice — the guitar sounds fantastic with a rich warm clarity. I appreciated the percussive use of the breaking glass sound as well. Bravo!

Hi Dice and many thanks for this. Titaka has a wonderful voice and attitude—I wish she would upload more material. Italian is a beautiful language, but I must admit that “sono Inglese” and I understand little of what Titaka says! I just like the sounds! Still, I really enjoyed working on this, and on her other uploads too.
