Nice work! I like how you kept it subtle for most of the track and then kicked the energy up a notch towards the end.

This has the essential simplicity of something Margo Timmins would sing (Cowboy Junkies.) Your instincts of doing the minimal mix were, I think, bang on. It is really as though you found this song’s musical home. :)
And yes, the energetic pickup at the end is really nice. :) |

I think you’ve interpreted the pella in a very thoughtful and responsive way. It’s like this pella is coming home to the arrangement it was ment for. Very very good.
