Just some beautiful music on mixter this morning…at least everything I’ve listened to and this is no exception. You did a great job DoKash with that gentle piano - and Cigg’s voice is both a supplication and a yearning…that dissonant chord structure in the finale adds a psychological dimension. excellent….

and the award for best siren goes to brit-bomb & sometimes mermaid, Ciggi Burns! combined with the gorgeous accompaniment by DoK, this is enough to make a sailor let go of the wheel & follow the dream.

An aural journey of seduction and destruction. Your masterful arrangement is as enticing and dangerous as the siren herself, placing a spotlight on Ciggi’s soaring song so that the clarity and beauty of her voice becomes a beacon to all those unwary sailors. Beautifully conceptualized and executed.

Nice, clean, spacious beauty. A clear channel between player and singer and listener. Well done!

What a treat to come back to this after being unable to visit the site for a couple of days! I really love the way you have of mixing beauty with an underlying thread of something very sinister. A fantastic arrangement. Thank you for including me, DK. xx

What a gorgeous scary walk down the path to destruction. CB makes such a beautiful Siren. Who wouldn’t follow her to the end of the earth. Thank you so much for this journey.
This song was written for my grandfather, who spent his life at sea. He said the sea took you when she took you. He never learned to swim. n9 |
