thank you for giving words to my heart. our sweet dog who was 16 just passed away. i’ve been far more broken than i could have imagined. like you, we have a lot of animals, and yes, we experience loss that takes a toll. we lost 6 of our hens two years ago and it was gut wrenching. they are family. always and forever.
