This sounds amazing! I especially like the innabar vocals and the delay.
|
.
Innabar and delay are a golden match-up, could listen all day to that.
Thanks |

oooh The echo-y vocals created that pensive, almost dark moods. Then when the drums hit… damn nice touch. I’m not really a fan of rap but listened to this all the way through. Nice. Very nice.

That’s a nice hip-hop groove you’ve crafted there! I love how you cut up my music box sample to give it an interesting rhythm that my original didn’t have.
If I had any criticism I’d say the intro (Motherless Child vocals) feels a little long to me. Don’t get me wrong the vocals sound great, but in this case I wished it would’ve gotten to the rap/instrumental accompaniment sooner. I felt like they should’ve come in after the 2nd “a long way from home”. Or maybe it might not have felt so long if it had been more like a DJ scratching a record of the Motherless Child vocal. Just a thought. All the same, great job overall! |
.
Thanks man your music box was the starting point of this track.
I appriciate your thought on the vocals, I agrea. At first I wantend to shorten the intro and at a female part in the middle. But when the middle part didn’t work I also dropped the shorted intro, I’ll put it back |

What a super juxtaposition of sound and feel! I’m listening at work on lousy “tweaker” speakers so I am sure I am missing the entire sonic experience, but the rhythm certainly comes through and the power of the chant underneath the rap. Bravo!

Awesome remix. I’m especially fond of the deep chants. I, too, will need to listen again at home w/ decent speakers. My headphones certainly aren’t doing justice to the details…
