This is a hot track! Extremely well produced and definitely has a pop feel. Did you play all the instruments? Dam good. Can upload the stems?

Thanks, C! Check this space in the next days. I uploaded the song just before leaving for a weekend in Tuscany and I’m just back now and tonight I can’t upload the stems. I will do it during the week.

big compliment from a rock master! I apply a guitar ampli software to my poor playing and to some loops, you do it seriously with your distorted guitars..

Great melodic power rock, with all the plucked out chorus chords and staccato stops! Needs more cowbell. ;-)

Great guitar analysis. I see you play this instrument! Cowbell: I might think about it, there’s a couple of things I would like to change in the mix (I was running out of time for the end-of-the-month deadline)

b/t = backing track,
the music you created for the a cappella.

Great track, I like the rock style, of course.
You’ve created a very denser and interesting sound-scape, the samples match very good. Excellent!

Uh-oh- another rock master comes to review me, I am honoured. I play mainly keyboards, so I couldn’t resist to add some more sounds from my synthesizer here and there for those who care listening!

your editing and placement of vocals is so powerful - love the emphasis on Franklin’s quote (one of my favs). this song is sooo great - serious content of lyrics, but something about the chords, the chorus, the instruments - gives the heart a feeling of hope and positive energy. very great track!!! i would Ed Pick if i wasn’t included :)

Thanks for your kind words and again for giving the chance to everyone here to write good music (I like a lot of the strike-the-root remixes actually).
This song is having an echo in Italy, my email is submerged by appreciations (I think because of the words, and because it has an easy melody, “catchy” as someone wrote): I hope this may be a sort of “advertise” also for ccmixter website, since I am redirecting all to here and there have been only 2-3 italians so far in this community.

Full of awesome. :D You rocked the rock oh master of pop. The interesting thing to me is how catchy and melodic your style of rock is… It’s a perfect example of the magic that happens when folks branch out and genre hop. Plus, it’s so cool how the lyrics apply to your local situation. Very well done.

Thanks Kara, it’s true when we cross genres (and this also often happens with the secret mixter projects).
