An ethereal and confronting work, this interpretation of WolfFly’s ‘Venom’ is both imaginative and well structured. The contrast between tender plucked backing and assertive vocal presence has a commanding effect on the listener. Underneath it all there is a drifting vocal harmony which is complemented by some beautiful ambient sweeps and then leaves you with a gentle sense of completion by the end.
