amazing how you transitioned this so smoothly from 6/8 to 4/4 - without auto-tune! love the rhythm pattern under the chorus and into the second verse. each new element is quite special. great mix alex! thanks so much for remixing me.

The easiest was to put it to 4/4… but the most difficult was to create the backing that would support the mood of the song or at least the lyrics, keeping it soft, light and moving. And I really hope it does… Anyway, I’m very glad you liked it somehow! Thanks!!!

dear Alex, thank you for your kindness. it has been a trying year, but i believe 2011 is our time to shine! i feel the sacrifice and trial will be worth it, as i believe in ccMixter so much. it was actually the music and experience at ccMixter that has lifted me through. thank you for everything.

This is great, Alex. When I heard the pella I knew it had the potential of being a good melody even out of its original tempo and mood; I browsed into the remixes hoping to find something like this, fantastic! Reminds me of minimal compositions, China Crisis and all the things I liked in the ’80s, but it’s new and transports us forward in the 2011.
