Let me be the first to say YES!!!! Love the arrangement — the organ and piano dancing around together like two suitors vying for attention from the same lady, with the guitar coming in to split them up before they come to blows. You have captured and enhanced Ciggi’s sultry, sexiness in this steamy treatment that suggests all kinds of possibilities!

Good arrangment on an old style singing but modern words with the not-safe-for-work caption. I am not familiar with swing, I only heard it in the 007 films in the 60s, yet I catch the vibe in this.

Your sound is always so clear and precise Alex. This is a slight departure form your funky up beat grooves, but shows you’re a multi talented guy. Ciggi is always a pleasure to work on (ahem) and you’ve created a cool and stylish end result. Nice work.

i’m transported to the bar scene in a Peter Gunn or Perry Mason t.v. episode in a spin-off from Ciggi’s modern hip lyric. a hipster, beat, finger-poppin’ backing track that cries for tight-fitting European clothes and repeated listens.

Can I see you in tight-fitting American clothes? Just so I see the difference …

Phew … I love this, Alex. It’s hot and steamy, yet you’ve caught that tension bubbling away under the surface … love and hate being so close and all that. This is black satin in music. Fantastic. Thank you for working on me! xx

Close your eyes and you can almost taste the overpriced champagnes in the dark smokey tropical cabaret with Miss Ciggi headlining. Satin white gloves, sparkling midnight blue gown cut down to there…. she stands in the spotlight smoldering… I tell you… smoldering.
Awesome. n9 |

You had me straight away with the swing beat. I’m so glad you kept it sparse behind Ciggi. Nothing worse than when every member of the band wants to shine the torch on themselves rather than the lady at the front with the cleavage.

A great groove, and as the others have said, plenty of space for the vocal to come through. Love the organ riff.
[ciggi’s recommended it, so I can’t, but ] |

F…k..!! But this is very good. Something of those jazzy tracks that we heard in the musical comedy of the 70’..
Simple and class..! |
