Tools I Used
Ableton Live 8, Arturia Moog, samples of vintage drum machines, samples from elsewhere. Bit of sidechaining, Waves Aural Exciter and other pseudo-analogue tools. Bit of pitch warble to stylize to the cassette.
Original Samples
Everything except vocal, drums and main pads.
Process
I started making a track in a desired mood, and then just thought would be nice to have a vocals in it, conveniently came upon Blue Island Love acapella and it fitted right in.
