Tools I Used

As mentioned, the core track was made ten years ago, with Cubase VST 3.5. Recorded on two ADAT XT, Yamaha TX 802, Roland D 70, Roland JX8P, Emu 6400, Ensoniq DP4, RSP Intelliverb and some more stuff that I don_t remember.
For the drums I used a drumloop that I reprogrammed, because I didn_t like the original sound.
The e-bass played by Jose Fernandez was amplified by a simple DI-box from Behringer as well as the compresser.
All synths and fx was routed through Soundcraft Ghost 32.
The stereofile was recorded on a Tascam Dat recorder and premstered in Wavelab 2.

Nowadays I use Cubase 4 without any other hardware stuff (in this case). I added some percussion and guitar loops from Stylus RMX, additional strings were coming from Atmosphere and the additional E-Piano is from the Cubase internal HalOne Player.
For required pitchshifting to fit the vocals, I used the Cubase internal pitch function, which is in my ears better than Wavelab6 DARC algorithm.
I bounced it in Wavelab 6 and added a little Multibandcompresssor fx.

Other Notes

Sort of strange but also funny feeling to re-open and to work with 10 year old files.
