Yet another Lo-Fi radiocast recording from inside my 2002 Tahoe while sitting in Elron’s driveway. This time we are going to ElRon’s birthday celebration lunch.

The recording uses an incredibly inexpensive Aiworth digital recording device Model E36 gifted to me for Christmas. To say the audio quality is Lo-Fi is generous, however, the simplistic, easy to use USB interface to Windows is stellar.

The device is supposed to be alternative to smartphone-based Lo-Fi radiocast recording. The jury is out.

Journey through mwic land

Section 1 and Section 3 are mwic lamenting “You’re All I’ve Got” with Electronico on synth bass.

Section 2 is mwic lamenting “You’re All I’ve Got” built on mwic “Churchlike” bass and percussion with Loveshadow “Just Got You” drums layered on mwic “My new favorite video game” drums. Electronico on arpeggiated Sytrus synth. The low synth pad sample is from mwic’s “My new favorite video game” and processed through a PHASIS phase shifter effect by Native Instruments.

After Section 2 BREAK is mwic’s brief ohmage to Thelonius Monk with Loveshadow “Just Got You” drums layered on mwic “My new favorite video game” drums. For rhythmic effects, the copy of the piano track is process in parallel through a DS Audio TANTRA 2 multi-effects plugin.

Section 4 is mwic lamenting “You’re All I’ve Got” within a sample from TRF’s 2018 remix of “You’re All I’ve Got (and That’s Not Much)” featuring ElRon on guitar and Electronico MIDI keys.

Section 5 is mwic “Churchlike” bass and percussion with synth and hi-hat accompaniment.

Section 6 is mwic rapping about “What I Am” accompanied by the drum stem from Zenboy1955’s “And That’s Not Much.”

Ending Bumper: Dave Merrick wearing pants.
