Voice of a Stream
Was encouraged recently to work with Asian rhythms and instruments. Spoken word audio seems to lend itself to experimenting with Dholki (panned left) and Tabla (panned right) percussion. And a recording of a Swedish brook called Dunkehalla.
Kaiho says “Recording of me messing around on the sitar in my basement” in the key of C. Harp, bells and flute are in the key of C#. Bluemillenium’s boutielle sample sounds like a cymbal scraped, which is the desire sound. Attributions: (1)Sitar recording by Kaiho.
