My apologies to Clarence for appropriating such a wonderful and culturally significant song, but I couldn’t stop the love gushing out of me.

Sung as a one take with only a brief idea where the lyric was was heading, I then added the 6/8 drums, bass and organ. Clarence’s decision to upload the piano midi helped the arrangement immensely.

A song about love on a very personal level and its implicit promise within.
