not hearing myself on the radio

Ockham’s Razor, ABC, May 10, 2015

after a restless night i halfwake
hear a man’s voice

another second or two
recognize words i once wrote

realize with the concluding sentence
the voice is mine

delivering the talk i’d recorded
a year ago

and now
just missed…
