The Left Is Making Me Nervous

Nothing fancy here. Just me singing over Brad Sucks’ unaltered instrumentals for a fun little political parody.
When writing the lyrics for this, I made a conscious effort to emulate Brad Sucks’ rhyming scheme, so it’s almost like listening to the original, but not quite. Lyrics: One step at a time, keeping everyone in line. I don’t need their words to pollute my mind. Simple refrains slowly occupy the brain. Till foreign ways don’t seem so strange. More hearts they win, with the more they spin. It’s getting harder not to give in. I don’t want a fight just for leaning towards the right. But that’s how it goes time after time. It’s making me nervous… Yeaahh… One step at a time, keep within the party line. I don’t need no left propaganda on my mind. “Yes we can,” “Change,” slowly occupy the brain. Till Marxist ways don’t seem so strange. More votes they win, with the more they spin. Everybody around me keeps caving in. I don’t want a fight just for voting on the right. But that’s what happens baby every single time. It’s making me nervous… Yeaahh… Now we’re spending more than we bring in. So we pay it back again, again and again. I don’t want a fight just for leaning towards the right. But that’s what happens when I speak my mind. It’s making me nervous… Yeaahh…
