Dark Winter

A fanfare or a funeral, I think of a dark Scandinavian winter forest. This might be because this is actually thought as a intro to this:

which was named “receding winter” because the footage I had captured was of a receding winter… ie. the logic goes intro to receding winter => winter, and it sounds dark… so dark winter it is. I’m horrible at names, once you name something you make people think a specific way, and that’s not always the best.. Maybe I should have named it ‘Happy Puppy’ and see what associations people would come up with… anyways

I decided to go with pure piano on the youtube video and this came in as a spare.

The music is a bit unpolished and that is especially evident in the stems. On the bright side it shows that is is a human being who has played it.

I’d love to see what the community can come up with!
