How do extended mixes work?

I guess my most specific question is where do they show up? Do they show up in remixes or?

Because now that I have DJ equipment I was thinking of doing an honest to Goddess, hour long actual Megamix.

I don’t think they show up in remixes, at least not in the past. I did a lengthy piece some 8 years ago and I used a dummy upload with the actual long piece as secondary upload for that same reason. But of course, that is far from ideal.

I have been going through the different tabs, but cannot see where extended mixes are listed.

Not sure, I’m looking into it …
something to note, there is a 50 meg limit on the mixes, might be something to consider when encoding your mp3.

I’ll let you know more once I research further.

From what I’ve determined, there is currently no specific feature that pulls up extended mixes.
The only way to see other extended mixes is through tags:

It is important to note that some users have interpreted “extended mix” as a longer version of one track, as opposed to a “DJ set,” which is a series of tracks that transition into one another. Point being, adjust your expectations :)
