Hello everybody!

So, I did it. I bought a nice little master keyboard from NI (the a61) and want to use NI stuff like Maschine,or Reaktor, or Blocks, and all that other stuff that comes with the purchase. It’s completely overwhelming for me, having learned to play keyboards some 30 years ago…

Can someone provide me with links to good tutorials on how to use the software? I have found out the basics (i.e. how to use keyboard and software together basically), yet I’d like to learn in a simple way how to add some nice patterns, rhythms and decent effects to recorded tracks. I am also not sure if I need Live for this task at all… or what else.
Tutorials can be in German, English or Dutch.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi musicbrain, my 2 cents, you will nead ableton. maschine/reaktor/block will define the sounds that come when you hit a note, but you ĺl still want to edit, re-arrange different parts, multitrack etc. and there you will need a daw. I like reaktor a lot, but it is a huge universe, overwhelming in many ways. Best, Martin
