Hey everyone,

I’ve created some samples for the very first time using my Shure M58 microphone and Ableton Live.

Please let me know what you think of the quality. I need to get the distance right between the flute and the mic, as well as how the level of the mic itself.

I hope there isn’t too much mic hiss/noise. But let me know.

Thanks

My suggestion is to ensure you have at least one mp3 directly available to be the preview file. That way the little player icon will work. With everything in the zip file, remixers won’t commit to the download usually unless they can quickly catch a listen.

There’s just so much source they’re listening to, and the preview player is the only way to get through it all. That way, they can get a good sense of what’s interesting to them, and then download and play with it.

Thank YOU!

And thanks for the tips all, I’ve updated my files, adding mp3 previews of the samples.
